"art tours, art trips, art workshops for students and you! "

Oh Canada! for Duplomats (Ottawa)

Created in 2001, walkthearts.com promotes experiential learning for high school, college and/or university students, through international art tours and art workshops offered in Europe, Africa, South America and North America. Our art tours and art workshops also welcome any individuals of all ages, lifelong learners, interested in participating in stimulating travel experiences to cities such as Paris, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Cartagena, Cairo, Montréal, New-York, and many more extraordinary ports of call.

Our personalized programs are intended for active, dynamic, opened minded groups willing to immerse in the culture of the visiting country in order to live in depth the experience of art, history and religion and return back home with rewarding memories.

We specialize in art history, history, and fine-arts; but also in history of religions, Canadian studies, French literature as well French, Italian and Spanish language courses. We are well traveled and are very familiar with the United States, Canada, France, Italy and Spain

Flexibility, teamwork and communication are the key components of our art tour success.  From conception to realization, we assist you and your high school, college or university in the planning of your students’ holiday art course, and at its finest details. All along our project, we work closely with you in order to arrive together at a compelling and robust art class suited to your syllabus. We adapt to your students' needs, may they be in their young adulthood or at a later age. Your role as a leader is important to us. Lectures may be shared between you and icscis based educators.

walkthearts.com is part of icscis which was established in 1996.  icscis is a small cultural organization without walls operating in and from North America, Europe and South America. Its mission is:

1) to democratize art and culture;
2) to increase cultural knowledge at all levels, by delivering first class art education;
3) to develop a greater understanding between people from developed and less developed countries;
4) to facilitate exchange between cultural organizations such as schools, art schools, foundations, nongovernmental organizations (NGO), nonprofit organizations, etc.;
5) to eliminate barriers within paradigms or established frameworks;
6) and to achieve its goals through affordable programming.

We certainly know that “Walking the arts” is an essential aspect of life as it is the only way to understand others, their ways of being and creations. To sum up walkthearts.com offers “live art trips or art tours” or “live holiday art courses” to students, educators, and anyone like you, interested in discovering new cultures via their society, art, history, and religion
